The board of 350 Aotearoa organised the charity’s first annual fundraising dinner on 26th July, which was an opportunity for supporters to hear from the organisation about progress on actions, meet like-minded people and raise funds for the essential climate change work that 350 does.

A huge thank you to everyone who came to the event and made it such a lovely evening. Many thanks to everyone who made a donation, or participated in the auction to support our work. Special thanks to Jason, Josh, Alex, Noel, Felicien, and Orlagh for volunteering their time to help set up, serve food, and clean up, as well as being key volunteers in our movement, and Angus for stepping up to be our epic auctioneer!

We are very grateful for the generous donations of our supporting organisations: Cityside Baptist Church for the venue, Yealands and Lothlorien for the wine, Tart Bakery for the dessert, Greenpeace and Oxfam for the tableware.

A delicious dinner was provided by the Wise Collective Catering Service, which supports women from refugee backgrounds, empowering them to develop knowledge, skills, confidence and resources to enhance their wellbeing and independence, helping many of the women to generate extra income for their families.

There was an auction that raised $2500 for 350, which wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of the wonderful organisations listed below.

It was a pleasure to bring so many like minded people and organisations into one room. We had a great evening, and hope you all did too!
